Use Reddit for supported community posts, replies and messages.
Available tools
- Receive supported direct-message and reply events, and start eligible direct conversations.
- Inspect and act on eligible comments with assignment, reply, moderation, status, tags, sentiment, and history.
- Publish and schedule self or link posts with subreddit, title, URL, flair, NSFW, and spoiler controls.
- Edit the body of an eligible published self-post, unpublish supported targets, retry failures, and sync external posts.
- Review supported post and account trends, engagement, timing, cadence, follower movement, and content lifespan.
Connect
- Open Social Home → Connections, choose Reddit and authorize the exact profile.
- Give it a clear name and choose a primary profile for new work.
- Confirm its permissions and connection state. Existing conversations keep their pinned sender; select the exact profile for publishing, templates, broadcasts and automations.
Reconnect the same profile when permissions expire. Before replacement or disconnection, reassign scheduled posts and check active senders.
Daily steps
- Connect the intended account and document the rules for every subreddit the team may use.
- Choose a subreddit explicitly, then set the correct title, post type, flair, and safety markers.
- Write for the community's context; avoid reusing promotional copy that ignores local norms.
- Assign substantive replies to a knowledgeable teammate and keep moderation actions auditable.
- Judge success by useful discussion, qualified traffic, and issue resolution—not raw post volume.
Use Inbox for supported interactions and Publishing for drafts, review and scheduling.
Analytics
Reddit analytics are permission- and community-dependent. Use Replify's available post trends and inbox outcomes, and interpret engagement in the context of each subreddit rather than as one global audience.
Open Social analytics, select the exact profile and period, then sync. Compare trends within that profile; network metric definitions differ.
Limits
- Subreddit rules, moderation, and account access determine whether a post or action succeeds.
- Media validation and analytics are limited compared with some visual networks.
- Published editing is limited to the body of self-posts; link-post titles and URLs cannot be changed.
- Message capabilities follow the exact API access and eligible event type.
Tools depend on profile permissions and item eligibility. Advertising management is not included. See analytics or multi-profile controls for details.
